Trainings on pause from 22-27.09

There will be no classes at Casa de Baile starting from today, until Sunday 27.09. Classes will resume at the usual times again on Monday 28.09.

The COVID virus has also passed through the Tallinn dance scene. Last night (21.09) one dancer got a positive test result. Many thanks to him for informing us immediately. According to the instructions of the Health Board, there is a risk of infection in his close contacts during the last 3 days (from Friday, 18.09). During this period, he has not taken part in dance classes, but he was at the Terrace Salsa party on Harju Street on Friday and Sunday. He has so far personally informed all his partners and people he came in contact with at the party.

Although this person did not participate in classes with us at the time of the risk of infection, we still take precautions. Because of this, Casa de Baile has decided to cancel this week's dance classes, just to be extra safe.

In the meantime, we ask all students to monitor their health and contact their family doctor and take a COVID test if they develop symptoms. We also ask you to let us know if anyone else is diagnosed with the disease (confidentially).

Although the Health Board did not consider it necessary to close the school, in the interests of the dance community, we decided to take a short break so that we could then continue dancing again with a calm heart.
