BachaZouk

BachaZouk is a new trendy dance style from 2020 using basic elements of Bachata in fusion with (mostly) head movements from Brazilian Zouk.

In this course we will explore these Zouk elements gradually, building on your existing skills while enjoying the Bachata you love!

This new style of Bachata is already seen in all the Bachata parties in Estonia and abroad, so come join the fun!

The steps of Bachata function as the base; therefore at least 9 months of Bachata experience is required. All Zouk dancers are welcome as well.

Among other things, we will learn:
● The three primary techniques of head movements.
● How to safely enter and exit head movements
● When, where, and how it is possible and easy to transition to head movements inBachata.
● Tips on maintaining balance during head movements.
● Tricks to connect different head movements allowing smooth transitions.
● The magic of the Zouk "Flow".
● Improvising during head movements so you would have a gazillion more ways of continuing your dance during head movements.
